Data collected by the developer

Senrigan does not display advertising and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). To understand app usage and improve reliability, Senrigan uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited anonymous usage, crash, device, operating-system, app-session, and diagnostic information.

Google Analytics may infer an approximate region from a masked network IP address. Senrigan does not request Location Services permission. This information is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites, and the developer does not link it to your identity.

Usage events are limited to connection attempts and outcomes, Picture in Picture use, feature-setting choices, App Store review-request timing, and connection duration reduced to broad time buckets. Crash and diagnostic information may include a sanitized error category, a limited error code, and device, OS, app-version, and session information.

Your analytics choice

Anonymous Usage & Crash Sharing is enabled by default and can be disabled at any time in Common Settings. Disabling it immediately stops app-defined usage events and Firebase Analytics collection. Firebase Crashlytics automatic reporting stops on the next app launch, when pending unsent Crashlytics reports are also deleted.

Remote-session data never sent to Firebase

Senrigan never sends your VNC destination host name, IP address, port, saved server name, passwords, remote-screen images or framebuffer data, clipboard contents, typed text, key values, or free-form error descriptions to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.

Information stored on your device

Server names, host names, ports, and display or input settings are stored on your device. VNC and optional Mac login passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain. This information is not sent to the developer.

Direct VNC traffic

Screen images, keyboard input, pointer actions, and clipboard text are exchanged directly between your device and the VNC server you select. Senrigan does not operate a relay server. Standard VNC traffic is not encrypted; use a VPN you manage for access outside a trusted network.

Local network permission

Senrigan uses the iOS local-network permission to connect to VNC servers on your network.

Removing local data

Deleting a saved server in Senrigan removes its settings and saved passwords. Before uninstalling the app, delete saved servers if you also want their Keychain items removed.

This website

This support website is delivered by Cloudflare, which may process standard network request information to provide and secure the page. The site does not use advertising or analytics scripts.
